The Asthmatic - India (Improv)

Today’s featured track is all about unique voice and interesting performance. This one probably won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, I am a big fan of the minimal production with highly affected vocal. While I am not a big fan of The Asthmatics’ more danceable songs, their minimalist compositions certainly have a place in my library.

Faubourg - Relentless

Let’s be honest here. Who doesn’t like Archive? And if you are like me perhaps the main reason you listen to them is the “hop” part of trip-hop. Scoobert Doobert - I Love Money

Groovy, low-key, without hurry. Scoobert Doobert comes at you with straight honesty. No pretending, no complicated ornamentation. I am sure you will like it!

Brian Crosby - Moon Child

Simple, clear. Just as I like it. It is true that this kind of simplistic minimalism might be just inability to create something more layered. Or that the piece just aims at the superficial market of background listening. Something that will get more people to listen because it is easy to listen to. On the other hand if it strikes you as true, maybe there is more to it. I will let you decide.

Nadia Kamrath - Fever Dream

I am a sucker for beautiful voice. Sometimes the instrumental might not be as interesting but the voice! Well, here is one for the fans of London Grammar and similar bands. Simple song but beautiful anyway!
